WELCOME TO THE GOOD SCHOOLS GUIDE - FIRST IN A CLASS OF ONE
There are two distinct elements to the Good Schools Guide website:
The free part of this site is:
A comprehensive listing of all the public information available on all UK schools - from addresses, head teachers and pupil numbers through to exam results - arranged in as many useful ways as we could devise.
Use the left hand menu to see lists of schools in the Guide, contact us or view our extensive list of links and resources. Use the top menu bar to search for schools, based on name, location or any of the immense range of data that we hold (schools that are good for dyslexics, offer the IB, excel at archaeology ...).
As a one-stop reference source, our free site is unbeatable. But even this level of comprehensive fact & figure is no match for our paid-for content.
The paid-for content of this site is:
The online version of the unique and respected Good Schools Guide, full of in-depth, independent views on over 1000 schools, written by involved parents and our passionate editors.
The Guide itself has to cost money because it is unique in taking no advertising from and having NO financial relationship with ANY of the featured schools. It is able to cut through marketing spin, tell the real story and save expensive heartache, and is therefore worth every penny whether accessed by online subscription or in original book form (now in its 11th edition).
Before you buy, make sure that we cover schools that interest you - look for the GSG symbol in the lists of schools that result from searches, or click on 'schools we cover' in the left-hand menu.
Use 'Buy the Guide' in the left hand menu to subscribe to the Guide online or buy the book. |
